Don't Move into Fear!
Sometimes fear seems
automatic and out of our control. Fear can also rise up in such a
way that it is difficult to put down.
It is important to
remember that fear negatively impacts your physical health,
emotional balance, and mental clarity. It is equally important to
remember how you always have choices - including whether to hold
onto fear.
We seem to be living in a world where fear is
escalating. It is easy to get upset, angry, and yes, afraid as you
see the challenges in the world around you. Will it ever stop? Will
you be safe and cared for?
I am being clearly guided that the
best course of action is to focus on your hopes for the world. When
you give your attention, energy, emotion and fear to what is going
on outside of you - it drains and exhausts you, which keeps you from
being your best each and every day.
Instead focus on all
parts of yourself - your health, meditation time, creative pursuits,
and passions. This focus helps you to remain in balance with who you
are while being connected with your true self to better impact the
world in a positive way. That impact can start as simply as holding
good energy each day and radiating it forward.
This notion
even applies to extending ourselves to traumas, dramas, or
imbalances in the external world. This could mean extending yourself
personally or emotionally as you track events on the TV or the
internet. Although it may feel like the right thing to do, you could
end up compromising your self, energy, and health by becoming
entangled. When this happens, you are limiting your ability to be
good to yourself or your family.
Remember the idea behind
putting an airplane oxygen mask on yourself first? This also applies
to the period of time we are in right now. You can be aware of what
is going on externally, but it is best to focus your energy and
attention on your inner processes to help create a better life for
yourself and the world. This does more good than any individual
effort.
Leave the chaos and fear outside of yourself and
focus on your inner peace and harmony. Become the peace you seek in
the world. Become the person you want others to be.

do this, you enhance your vitality and health, as well as impact the
world in a wonderful way.
